Dr. Tara Arnold, PhD, LCSW, CEDS-C, RYT-200, is a highly experienced clinician and educator in the mental health and wellness field. Holding a Doctorate in Social Work along with several advanced certifications, she has spent more than 20 years helping adults navigate eating disorders, substance use concerns, and other mental health challenges.

Since opening her private practice in 2003, Dr. Arnold has provided both individual and group therapy grounded in compassion and evidence-based care. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she draws from a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO DBT), tailoring treatment to each client's unique goals and needs.

Dr. Arnold is also a dedicated mentor, trainer, and advocate for professional development. She has been actively involved in DBT and eating disorder education at the national level since 2000, providing supervision and specialized training for clinicians. Her teaching experience includes courses at the University of Georgia, mentorship of graduate-level interns, service as Mentorship Chair for GSCSW, and her current role as Mentorship Leader for IAEDP Atlanta.
