Jolia Alexander is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over five years of clinical experience. She earned her Master of Education in Marriage and Family Counseling, as well as her Specialist in Education in Marriage and Family Counseling, from the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Jolia brings a strong understanding of relational dynamics to her work, shaped in part by her own experience growing up in a divorced family. This background informs her emphasis on communication, connection, and creating a nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood.

She utilizes an integrative, individualized approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). In her work with couples, she incorporates Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 & 2) to help partners strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and improve relational satisfaction.

Jolia also holds multiple specialized certifications, including Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy Professional (CDBT), and Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP). This training supports her work with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, and relationship concerns.

She is committed to helping clients move through life’s challenges with clarity and support, offering a collaborative and structured therapeutic approach tailored to each individual’s needs. In her clinical space, clients are encouraged to explore their thoughts and emotions openly, without fear of judgment, while working toward personally meaningful goals.
