Cassandra Amodio MSW LCSW
Cassandra Barro Amodio, MSW, LCSW
Cassie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is committed to helping clients invest in their own well-being, reduce emotional distress, and build fuller, more meaningful lives.
Her therapeutic approach is energetic, straightforward, and goal-oriented. Cassie values authenticity in the therapy process and works collaboratively with clients to create lasting change. Drawing primarily from strengths-based practices and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), she adapts her methods to meet each individual's unique needs and circumstances.
Cassie specializes in treating eating disorders in adolescents, teens, young adults, and families across all genders and diagnoses. She has worked with the eating disorder population since 2013 and has advanced training in Family-Based Treatment (FBT). This evidence-based approach emphasizes family involvement and supports many young people in receiving treatment while remaining at home, potentially reducing the need for higher levels of care.
In addition to her work with eating disorders, Cassie is passionate about women's health, perfectionism, and self-esteem. She helps women strengthen their confidence, develop a greater sense of self-worth, and build the skills needed to advocate for themselves effectively in all areas of life.
