Fayelyn is passionate about women’s issues and has experience working with survivors of trauma. She is also deeply committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming care and working closely with individuals navigating body image concerns and self-esteem issues, helping clients build a more compassionate and empowered relationship with themselves.
Before beginning her journey as a social work graduate student at UGA, Fayelyn spent over a decade in the entertainment industry in New York City and Los Angeles. She draws from her background as an actor, a path that deepened her connection to human emotion, expression, and vulnerability. This creative foundation has strengthened her therapeutic presence, allowing her to meet clients with genuine curiosity and empathy. She believes in the healing power of authenticity and humor and creates a safe space where clients feel truly seen and heard.
Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to help clients achieve their unique goals. Fayelyn strives to meet each person where they are, working collaboratively to foster resilience, self-acceptance, and growth.
Fayelyn is currently under the supervision of Dr. Tara Arnold, PhD, LCSW, CEDS-C, RYT-200.
