Dr. Tara Arnold, PhD, LCSW, CEDS-C, RYT-200, is a trailblazing figure in the field of mental health and wellness. With a Doctorate in Social Work and a wealth of specialized certifications, Dr. Arnold brings over two decades of experience to her practice, where she specializes in treating eating disorders, substance abuse, and related mental health challengesfor adults.
Since 2003, Dr. Arnold has operated a thriving private practice, offering individual and group therapy to clients seeking compassionate, evidence-based care. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she integrates her extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO DBT) and more helps her to provide comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.
A respected educator and mentor, Dr. Arnold has been at the forefront of national DBT and eating disorder education since 2000. She is deeply committed to fostering the next generation of mental health professionals, offering clinical supervision and training programs to therapists seeking to enhance their skills in DBT, RO DBT, and certified eating disorder specialties. In the spirit of training, Dr. Arnold has taught courses at the University of Georgia, trained interns from Master’s programs at various schools, and she served as the mentorship Chair for the GSCSW and currently is the Mentorship leader for IAEDP Atlanta.

Further, she is a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200), incorporating mindfulness and holistic approaches into her practice to promote overall well-being. She also is certified in Reiki and hypnotherapy to help integrate energy work and enjoys working with all levels of healing- conscious and unconscious. She is passionate about creating a sacred space for healing, where clients can explore their innermost struggles and emerge stronger, more resilient, and empowered to live their best lives.
